Set against the backdrop of the start of the devastating post-election violence that took place in Kenya in 2007/2008 and has left tens of thousands of Kenyans homeless, traumatized or dead, Taharuki (Suspense) is the fictional account of a man and woman from opposing ethnic tribes who’re working for an underground liberation movement to expose a child-trafficking cartel when something goes wrong, and they’re forced to make tough choices in order to stay alive and complete their mission. Time is running out, lives are at stake, and every second counts. What they choose could change the course of history.

Heal the nation is a 30 minute documentary…a touching story, an eyewitness account…of the tragedy that befell Kenyans after the 2007 December elections. Victims and perpetrators meet as they narrate their stories on Kenya worst tribal conflict that left over 1,500 dead and nearly 500,000 people internally displaced. A cry for justice and reconciliation rings through this documentary and what will happen if we don’t reconcile before 2012 elections.

In the mid 90′s Hip Hop music took some of its first baby steps on Kenyan media, many doubted its legitimacy. Ten years later it’s become a legitimate industry that’s not only creating employment for the artists but for youth as well. Hip hop is the biggest culture in the world today.

In recognizing the significant accomplishment Hip Hop has had in our country. We made a film titled Hip Hop Colony that celebrates the genesis and continuous rise of Hip Hop in Kenya . This is a film of epic promotions, capturing and placing the Kenyan youth within a worldwide revolution with tremendous effects.

This Kenyan movie is about Boniface Simiyu who goes to Samurai school in Japan and then has to return after that country suffers one of its many tsunamis.

On his arrival in Kenya Simiyu is received by the warm love of his Grandmother Naomi and his little cousin. However, there is trouble, he gets into an altercation with goons who run a protection racket in his home village where his grandmother is a trader. After an almighty fight he is given a choice by the goons; surrender or his grandma and his new love (Zinzy) interest get machetted.

In an interesting turn of events, the movie ends as the audience is asked to vote by SMS on how the movie should proceed. The series can be followed (and watched for free) on the show website www.simiyusamurai.com. The hope is that the show can engage the audience and earn revenues by employing this method.

This Kenyan movie is about a family torn between selling off their fathers land against the patriarch’s wishes. The children of the man’s first wife refuse to obey his wish and decide to bury him at the Langata Cemetery in Nairobi so that they can kick the second wife and her mute son out and enjoy the proceeds. That s when the horror begins….

The first Kenyan Horror film! Banned by the Kenyan Censorship Board as too horrific even to an adult and that contains too much blood and dead bodies!

You can just watch the trailer but the producers, Jitu Films, have to wait for the ban to be lifted before they release it.
